Regata os Grandes Veleiros Lisboa 2012.Um evento acessível - Tall Ship Race Lisbon 2012. An accessible event.

A cidade de Lisboa irá acolher, entre os dias 19 e 22 de Julho, a 14ª edição da Regata dos Grandes Veleiros Lisboa 2012. Esta Regata irá receber 31Veleiros 31 navios de 12 países incluindo Portugal. Este evento é acessível a  pessoas com mobilidade reduzida.

 É já amanhã que os Grandes Veleiros poderão ser visitados, gratuitamente, ente o Cais do Jadim do Tabaco e o cais de  Sta. Apolónia.  Estarão presentes veleiros de  vários países europeus: Portugal, Polónia, Dinamarca, Bulgária, Reino Unido, Rússia, Alemanha, Holanda, França, Bélgica, Estónia e Espanha.

Um evento acessível

 A organização portuguesa da regata está a fazer uma parceria com a Associação Salvador para tornar  o recinto deste evento acessível a todos, principalmente a pessoas com problemas de mobilidade.

Também estar é presente em Lisboa o veleiro “Lord Nelson” primeiro navio a ser construído, de raiz, para pessoas com mobilidade acessível. Este veleiro também estárá disponível para vistas e haverá uma conferência a bordo do navio inglês.

 Além a frota internacional que traz consigo belíssimos veleiros, a frota portuguesa também está muitíssimo bem representada. Assim estarão presentes o Sagres, o Creoula, o Santa Maria Manuela e a Caravela Vera Cruz.

 Eventos paralelos

 A par  realização da Regata dos Grandes Veleiros 2012 existem vários eventos relacionados coma regata. Haverão concertos, uma missa, uma peça de teatro, desfile das tripulações pela Rua Augusta (Baixa de Lisboa) e um desfile das embarcações entre Alcântara  e Belém.

  O Percurso, a regata

 A Regata dos Grandes Veleiros passa por vários portos . Começou em St. Malo, França a 5 de Julho, passa por Lisboa, Portugal, Cádiz e A Coruña, Espanha e termina a 26/8 em Bublin, na Irlanda.

 A nível internacional  a Regata é organizada pela Sail Training Internacional da qual a APORVELA, principal dinamizadora  deste evento a nível nacional, é parceira.

Esta Regata internacional tem como objetivo principal  proporcionar treino de Mar a jovens de todo o Mundo

The city of Lisbon will host between 19 and 22 July, the 14th edition of the Tall Ships Race 2012 Lisbon. This race will receive 31 Vessels from 12 countries including Portugal. This event is accessible to persons with reduced mobility.

It is tomorrow that the Tall Ships can be visited free of charge at  Jardim do Tabaco's dock and  Santa Apolonia's dock. Boats will be present in several European countries: Portugal, Poland, Denmark, Bulgaria, UK, Russia, Germany, Holland, France, Belgium, Estonia and Spain.

 An  accessible event

 The organization of the Portuguese race is making a partnership with the Salvador  Association to make room for this event accessible to everyone, especially people with mobility problems. Also be present in Lisbon is the sailboat "Lord Nelson" first ship to be built from scratch for disabled people. This boat is also available to view and there will be a conference on board the english ship.

Parallel events

 Besides holding the Tall Ships Race 2012 there are several race-related events coma. There will be concerts, a mass, a play, crew prade at Rua Augusta ( Lisbon’s downtown) and a parade of boats between Alcântara and Belém.

 The Route and the race

 The Tall Ship Race passes throught various ports.It began in St Malo, France July 5^th , passes throught Lisbon, Portugal, , Cádiz and A Coruña, Spain and Dublin, August 28^th .

At an international level this Ship Rce is organized by Sail Training International, who’s APORVELA,this event  main organizer, is partner.

 This international race  main aim is to promote the sea trainig to young people from all over the world.
