No passado dia 10 de Setembro, teve lugar em Santarém, capital do Ribatejo, o anuncio dos vencedores da edição de 2011 das 7 Maravilhas da Gastronomia Portuguesa. Este evento teve como objectivo divulgar a gastronomia do nosso país e fomentar o gosto pelos produtos nacionais.
Estas 7 Maravilhas gastronómicas foram escolhidas de entre 70 iguarias pré-seleccionadas anteriormente. Mais tarde foram escolhidos 21 pratos até se chegar a 7 pratos mais representativos da gastronomia portuguesa.
Os critérios de selecção para estes 7 pratos obedeceram a um conjunto de regras.
A votação para a escolha dos 7 pratos de excelência da nossa gastronomia ficou a cargo dos Portugueses que quiseram

On 10 September, took place in Santarém, the capital of Ribatejo, the announcement of the winners of the 2011 edition of the 7 Wonders of the Portuguese gastronomy. This event aimed to promote the cuisine of our country and stimulate the taste for national products.
These 7 Gastronomic Wonders whore chosen from 70 pre-selected before. Later 21dishes were chosen until they reach seven most representative dishes of Portuguese cuisine.
The selection criteria for these 7 dishes followed a set of rules.
The vote for the choice of seven dishes of excellence of our cuisine was in charge of the Portuguese who wanted.
