A partnership with the Santa Casa da Misericórdia of Lisbon will allow there special conditions inside and outside the premises of Rock in Rio for people with reduced mobility .
Any disabled person , disabled or to express some kind of temporary disability resulting from an accident or disease . Will also benefit all elderly people with limited mobility , the blind, women in advanced pregnancy or with prams
Reserved Parking
There is a car park with limited capacity , reserved for the handicapped (with label ) , which is opposite the entrance principal.Os accompanying handicapped , whose vehicle has no label , may access the main entrance of the City Rock just to pick up and set for passengers , having to park the car elsewhere later .
Shuttle Santa Casa
In the days of the event there will be a round-trip transportation for people with disabilities or reduced mobility , and in accordance with the following conditions :
This service is free .
- Escort : the presence of a companion during transport is allowed.
- Departure : departure place will be exclusively in the Social Support Centre in Lisbon ( Rua do Açúcar , No. 64 ) . Onsite parking spaces are available with vigilance .
- Schedule: Departs from 30 to 30 min , between 16h30 and 21h30 .
- Arrival point of arrival will be on parking for individuals with disabilities or reduced mobility near the entrance reserved for this purpose in the main portico.
- Timetable: Departures from Rock City , toward the starting point of 30 to 30 min , from 17.00 until the end of the last concert of the World Stage .
INSIDE THE CITY OF ROCK
Venues in the City of Rock
Within the City of Rock , will be two platforms Santa Casa da Misericordia de Lisboa with access for people with disabilities or reduced mobility , one next to the World Stage and another next to the Vodafone Stage , where a companion can stay . All people with disabilities or reduced mobility will also have access to a priority queue Ferris Wheel .
In the year that the Rock in Rio Lisboa celebrates its first decade in Portugal , the Santa Casa da Misericordia de Lisboa ( SCML ) joins the Social Project of the event with the cause of accessibility , contributing to this is " A Festival for everyone. " it is for this reason that the Holy House wants to promote access to all areas of the City of Rock , with a " Tour the City of Rock " providing golf carts properly identified for exclusive use by the handicapped , and is a shuttle adapted for people in wheelchairs .

Persons with reduced mobility ( except wheelchairs) :
- Transportation available within the grounds in golf carts , properly identified and unique for people with reduced mobility
- Time: every day of the festival , from 16:00 until the start of the last concert on the World Stage
- Starting point : the portico of the main entrance of the premises until the meeting point of the internal shuttle (next to hospital)
- Points of Arrival : Rock Street , Electronics , and Vodafone stage Ferris Wheel
- Support : anyone interested should contact a volunteer from the Santa Casa at booth space or handicapped who will accompany them to the main portico to start the route.
People moving in wheelchair :
- Transportation available within the grounds in shuttle properly identified and adapted exclusively for people in wheelchairs
- Time: every day of the festival , from 16:00 until the start of the last concert on the World Stage
- Starting point : meeting point of the internal shuttle (next to hospital)
- Points of Arrival : Rock Street , Electronics , and Vodafone stage Ferris Wheel
- Support : anyone interested should contact a volunteer from the Santa Casa at booth space or handicapped who will accompany them to the meeting point of the internal shuttle .
Volunteers
During the days of the event , a group of volunteers from Rock In Rio and Santa Casa da Misericordia de Lisboa will be available to assist people with disabilities or reduced mobility . Volunteers provide support to these areas ( World Stage , Stage Vodafone and transport golf carts ) , both in food and beverages and other needs that may arise .
